This article analyzes the impact of intrapreneurship on SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) in the tourism sector of Villavicencio, Colombia, in relation to their business growth. This analysis is based on the results of applying a regression model. The article establishes the advantages and disadvantages of applying the concept of intrapreneurship and the factors that contribute to its development. Subsequently, it proposes business policy recommendations that, from a financial perspective, aim to optimize and improve the weaknesses identified during the field study. The study concludes that the relationship between intrapreneurship and business growth is inelastic, meaning that if intrapreneurship increases by 1%, business growth increases by 0.37%, indicating a positive relationship between the two variables. In other words, the impact is positive.
