Interoperability
All publications in the University of Santiago de Chile’s Journal Portal incorporate interoperability protocols that allow their content to be harvested by other distribution systems, such as digital repositories and harvesters. Journals published through OJS (Open Journal System 3.1.2.4) include the OAI-PMH interoperability protocol (Open Archive Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting), enabling the retrieval of metadata in various formats.
