Abstract

The book in question comprises a substantial 237 pages, in which a clear concern persists for tracing the trajectory of geopolitics from its origins to the present day, including its current characteristics. In the second half of the book, the author focuses on developing a specific method and offering a framework for implementing his proposed analytical perspective. This book complements the limited existing literature in Spanish—such as Heriberto Cairo's (2002) *Elementos para geopolítica crítica de la guerra y la paz: la construcción social del conflicto territorial*, published by the Complutense University of Madrid—on a discipline that has been so hotly debated since Germany's defeat in World War II.
