Maps of Violence offers a broad overview of disciplinary perspectives from which violence is reflected upon through diverse philosophical, aesthetic, literary, and political debates. This compilation, framed within a research project at the National University of the South, Argentina, directed by Dr. Ana María Zubieta, brings together material that explores the problem of violence from different angles. It seeks, on the one hand, to showcase an elaborate theoretical framework on the subject, and on the other, to account for the forms of resistance that violence has generated. It is a book of diverse essays that aim to "classify" violence, addressing the topic from various theoretical perspectives. However, even those essays that analyze very different artistic or literary works will use this analysis as a foundation for generating theoretical and conceptual reflection.
