Reviewing format

It is important for ÁyR that authors and reviewers identify the process and criteria for the evaluation of articles.

Please note the following:

  1. Respond to the online evaluation guideline through the OJS platform.
  2. Keep the material sent to you confidential.
  3. Preserve confidentiality and anonymity.
  4. Declare if you have any type of conflict of interest that would prevent you from carrying out the evaluation.
  5. Decline the invitation if the subject matter of the article does not fit their academic profile or thematic specialty.
  6. Objectively review the quality of the article.
  7. Be clear and precise in your arguments.
  8. Be objective and neutral with your criticisms; justify your assertions and be constructive with your comments.
  9. Refrain from making demands on the authors that exceed the limits and objectives of the research.
  10. Inform the editor if you find coincidences between the article and any previously published work or work in process of revision.
  11. Check for plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
  12. Report to the editor if there are reasonable suspicions or doubts regarding the veracity, manipulation of data or bias in the research.
